"Maybe you should come to that camp tomorrow...."

He did not want to hear it again.... He almost snapped back at her....

"I don't have the time for it.... And am not interested"

She felt angry but was not going to show it anyway.


And the matter might have subsided then hadn't his mother entered right at that moment....

"Krish... now you don't need to do anything more than just taking her there... She will need help anyway after donating blood"

"Ask Aarthi to take her there...."

"Aarthi is going to come with me to the Satsang.... "

He wished they would all disappear and leave him alone with his codes....

"Mom, sorry you can not talk me into this... I am NOT going and that is that"

His mom left the room with that.... Preetha left a few minutes later after staring at the wall....


It was in the evening that everything started again....

"Krish you must take her along with you..."

"But no.... Dad... I have something to do tomorrow....."

"I don't think it is something that is not worth postponing...."

"Well.... no... but then I still think that she can go alone... I guess that she is not that fragile she will collapse or something...."

"Don't talk that way Krish...."

"Dad...."

"Preetha you can go with him tomorrow... And Krish make sure that you get her something to eat after she donates.... Maybe a couple of juices..."


The only response that Krish could make then was kicking away at the hard wood sofa.... It still did nothing to bring that frustration within him to normal limits....


His mother smiled.... Proved yet again... The only person of whom Krish was scared was his father....

Better that way... At least he held the reins....

But she still hoped that Krish would find someone better than Preetha.... She knew what Aarthy had in mind.... It was enough having one of those sisters home....

Tomorrow would be a better day......
